Support Joey's Journey

Please support Joey on his Journey to Maker Faire. He wants to show and talk to other kids to promote Making! Making has changed his life, he wants to give back! 


When he is at Maker Faires he is 'at home' It's wonderful for a kid to find 'his place' It has built his confidence at school and life.

Fundraising has been very hard. We've done fundraiser with companies, never to get paid :( (Wendy's) Or was told they would donate to help (Home Depot) and never did. This isn't meant to be mean, it's just hard for Joey to understand.

First Day of Internship

So today was my first day at Microchip. I got my own cubicle, got to solder, got a computer and a name badge. Tomorrow I am getting a CHAIR! haha
Tomorrow should be fun too!

This is going to be a super fun summer! I'm also part of the MAKE Beta Testing Team!

Maker Faire

Wednesday we leave for Maker Faire in San Mateo California! I can't wait to see all my friends and meet new ones. If you haven't been to a MF - you must go. It's better than Disneyland (sorry) It's my 'happiest' place on earth!

Yesterday I sign the papers to do an Internship with Microchip her in Chandler, AZ. This is very cool and I'm excited to learn.

I sent Caine from Caines Arcade some "Don't be bored...MAKE something!" bracelets. Today I got a FUNPASS in the mail.
