3D Body Scanner - 3d Printer Challenge
The final touches to the 3D Body Scanner are complete. It's all ready for +ACM SIGGRAPH
My professor and I are going to make another one - that can travel better. I'd like to take it to +Maker Faire New York. Scan people then print them on a 3d printer.
Next week I'm going to +Maker Faire: Kansas City I'd like to do a 3D print challenge. +MAKE did one a few months ago.
I need to get good quality and fast, no one wants to wait hours to get there 3d body scan printed.
I know I will try a +Ultimaker my friend has one. I've tried the +MakerBot replicator at ASU. I'd like to try the +Afinia.
Anyone have any other 3D Printer ideas?

I used my new +MAKE beach towel the other day...my mom started laughing! "It's a wonder you don't have Make underwear!" she said. I would wear it if they made it! lol

I'm going to SIGGRAPH
I'm getting pretty excited. I got invited to #SIGGRAPH in Anaheim, CA. It's July 21-25. I'm going to get to show my project I made in Design Tech at ASU. It's a 3D body scanner - it's hooked up to a 3D printer. It will scan your body and then print it out!
It was a very hard choice...my mom said I had to choose either Maker Faire Detroit or SIGGRAPH. Maker Faire Detroit is July 27-28. I guess I really could have gone to both - but..
I'm excited for the new experience.
